Ancestors are Nowhere at Fmovies. Two women lead the funeral of Jinrye, matriarch of Korea’s longest-running family of Pansori masters with a history spanning 300 years. Her daughter, Chae-seon, is celebrated as the greatest master of our time and the guardian of the Pansori tradition, and the person standing beside her is the successor of the family heritage, So-ryeon, who dreams of a path that diverges from the family legacy. The one who enjoys the glory created by the ancestors and the other one who seeks to escape the curse of the ancestors. Finally, the different songs from each of them begin to resonate.
