When Sophie Park, a Korean American college student, decides to reclaim her heritage and go by her Korean name, Joo Hyun, she is surprised by her grandmother’s immediate protests. Dismissing her grandmother’s warning of a ‘family curse’ as mere superstition, Joo Hyun instead focuses on Jun, a handsome and mysterious stranger.
