A solid, well-argued script and carefully crafted photography connect emotionally with the audience to help them understand what happened to Maracaibo. Once Venezuela's second most important city, contributing a third of the country's oil revenues, it ceased to be the Land of the Beloved Sun. What happened? Who is responsible?
