Steaming Old Buddies at Fmovies. Two middle-aged men, one of them Moroccan-Dutch, sit in a misty sauna and discuss the state of their lives. Their friendly banter begins in a typically defensive male style: racist, homophobic and sexist jokes, complaints about other people. Slowly, the Dutch man’s defences crumble as we learn about the emotional ruin of his life. Can he reach out to his children, his ex-wife, even his soon-to-depart best friend?
