The Call

The Call at Fmovies. Habib tends his flock of sheep in a broad, rolling landscape, chain-smokes and every now and then catches a partridge. In the early 1980s he and his family had to flee as the Turkish army razed thousands of villages in the southeast of the country in an attempt to break Kurdish resistance. Habib has now returned to the village where he was born, and has started a new family, his first family having decided to stay in Istanbul.
